jake

i love jake gyllenhaal. he is my favorite celebrity and maybe person. i love him so much. i think he is so talented and i admire and look up to his work a lot. watching his movies is what got me into film and movie making in the first place. i already had been doing theater, specifically musical theater, for about 5 years when i discovered him, but watching him act on screen made me want to get better and strive to be a better actor on stage. this led me to want to act on film, but then i started to pay more attention to the technical aspects of the films he starred in, thus making me want to make my own movies. the first film of his i watched was donnie darko. i cant pick a favorite of his now, but that one is the one closest to my heart. i love him dearly.
